~Our Healing Habits:Patterns of Nourishment, Movement & Relationships
Utilizing yoga, sound, meditation, and hypnotherapy for shifting personal patterns
Healing Patterns of Nourishment and Movement Sun March 1st 6:00-9:00pm
When we heal our subconscious thought patterns and emotions that are held in the body, we can then be in a place to naturally make healthier choices about food and exercise. This workshop will be gentle in nature, respectful of individual privacy to share, while still allowing very creative and very tangible change to take place. There will be two parts to the evening with a short break in the middle.
Healing Patterns of Relationship to Self and Others Sun March 8th 6:00-9:00pm
How we do anything is how we do everything. Our inner and outer worlds are mirrors of each other, and as we are given the ability to create change in one place, this change ripples into all other areas in need of healing. Nintey percent of what we lived yesterday, we are again living today. With some gentle self-awareness we can begin to create lasting changes as we choose to create healthier habits of relating to self and others. There will be two parts to the evening with a short break in the middle.
$45.00/workshop or $80.00/both Please bring comfy clothes for restorative yoga, your yoga mat, water, and an open heart. All are welcome. Modo Yoga Newmarket Facilitators: Theresa Wicks has an educational background in Social Services, providing counselling services for a number of years before changing her career and later discoveringYoga. Theresa went on to complete her Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 in classical Vinyasa and Hatha with a focus on Mobility and Alignment, She quickly discovered that her passion as a teacher was in Restorative and Restorative Yin, as well as in facilitating a deepening relationship with the breath through Pranayama and Meditation. Her combined education and experience in Social Work and as a Yoga teacher created a modality for healing and understanding human behaviour. As a woman of Anishinaabe Ojibwe heritage, Theresa allows the lessons of her ancestry to infuse her teaching, which has led her to an even deeper understanding of the healing process

Workshops are ongoing throughout the year. I provide color hand-outs and blends for participants to take home. I present engaging information about chemistry, blending, carrier oils and the physical and spiritual attributes of essential oils. I add hands-on elements for participants and encourage group participation. If you are interested in a private workshop in your home or at the clinic I would be happy to arrange a day and time with you. For those interested in co-facilitating a series or workshop together, I can work with you in collaborating a creative, practical and hands-on event.
