Aromatherapy for Sleep & Anxiety: Support for Adults and Children
Aromatherapy has been used for centuries from the ancient Egyptians and Greeks, to some modern-day hospitals including those in France, Australia and England. Essentials oils are being widely researched and tested for their effectiveness in treating many physical problems such as inflammation, infection, heart problems, menstrual cycle imbalances, and skin conditions. These oils are also being proven to be effective for concerns regarding the nervous system and emotional well-being such as anxiety, insomnia, stress management, depression, exhaustion and grief.
During this workshop we will discuss the individual sleep concerns that participants or their loved ones may be experiencing. There will be information about essential oils that are helpful in reducing anxiety and calming the nervous system, and information on which essential oils to avoid or to use with caution while struggling with sleep and anxiety concerns. Participants will be able to listen and learn from the variety of questions and answers. There will be an opportunity to create a 30ml personalized blend for home use. A handout will be provided.
