Experience:
Music and Therapeutic Sound
Over the last five years I have been facilitating community sound circles to support local charities and bring therapeutic sound to those who participate. Over the last five years I have also had a private practice offering sound sessions for individuals and their families. I have volunteered in Hospice palliative care with the dying & their families providing therapeutic sound, Reiki and support. I have provided therapeutic sound for deaf individuals, who have received a lot benefit, and they provided remarkable feedback. More recently, I've used therapeutic sound for rescue horses. Massage therapy practice had included: chronic pain management, anxiety, rehabilitation, recovery from motor vehicle accidents, lymphatic drainage, women's health, prenatal and pediatric massage.
Clinical Hypnosis includes working with: those healing anxiety, severe depression, intense fears, eating disorders, reducing stress & healing self-esteem, as well as pain and symptom management. I've worked with children, teens and adults for a range of concerns that also include anger, confidence, and changing habits.
I have interests in plant & mushroom photography, music, spending time with my husband and our three lively boys cycling, hiking, swimming, sledding or snowshoeing. I am out most mornings with our two border collies welcoming the sunrise!
